Photo Walk Description

Hi all, this will be my third WWPW and I’m excited to lead it in beautiful, historic Fernandina Beach, FL! I plan to start in front of the marina, walk around town, past some of the more historic and interesting buildings, ending up back at the marina at sunset. Sunset should be about 7:13 – you can bring your tripod and leave it in the car during the walk and get it out when we return to the marina to get set up.

Afterwards, those who care too can eat dinner at Brett’s and share stories (and peeks at pics) from the walk.

    Hi gang, I have created our Flickr Group – Fernandina WWPW 2011 (http://www.flickr.com/groups/fenandinawwpw2011/). This is where you’ll submit pictures from the walk that you want to be considered for the prizes.

    Also, I know of several folks that are planning to join us but have not yet signed up – if you know of any of these folks, please get them to sign up. Also, feel free to talk this up with your friends – the more the merrier!

  • Walk finalized!

    I went to Fernandina this past weekend and finalized the walk in the blazing heat! It will be much cooler on 10/1 and at a different time of day so I am expecting a pleasant evening. I tried to guide us past old public buildings, homes and churches – most build around the turn of the century. There is a lot of color and plenty of interesting side streets so no one will have to feel constrained to a single path. I look forward to walking with everyone on 10/1!
