Photo Walk Description
Take a walk on the wild side. We will start our Walking Safari before the San Diego Safari Park (formerly San Diego Wild Animal Park) opens. Here’s a chance to see the animals get up and stretch before everyone else is admitted to the park. Besides visiting my favorite photo spots our host will also provide some insider input as to what is new and special at the park. The last part of our photo safari will include a special close encounter with some of the parks animals just for our hardy group of early risers! This has always been a special treat for our group in addition to getting in early. See you on the walk!
Hi…what is the cost?
Free! Our connection with the Safari gets our group in for no charge. Of course if you would like to donate something to the park that would be fine as well

Anyone can walk! Just have them sign up. Heck a little point and shoot camera (or a phone even) can work!

Henry – wow – this walk filled! This is the third time that I’ve lead this walk and the first time that it has filled. You are not on the list but you should be able to get on the waiting list (there are already two on that list).
And now there is four on the waiting list.

I take it for those of us who signed up we just show up Saturday morning?
Yup! Show up at the Wild Animal Park entrance at 7:45 am. If you are a zoo member please bring your membership card. If you have any passes and care to share them with our group it would also help out.

My hubby & I have sent you a couple of emails about the photowalk this coming Sat. Unfortunately, we have an event that came up that we cannot change. It conflicts with your photowalk. I notice that we are still on your list. Maybe we could attend next year. In the meantime, I’ll bet there are 2 people who would gladly take our place on the waiting list.

Yeah – I finally got the message. I was in Europe for 3 weeks and may have missed that email. I’ve taken care of everything and there are now two very happy people from the waiting list that are now on the walk list.
