• Kompetisi Worldwide Photo Walk 2011

  Selain Photo Walk, Scott Kelby juga mengadakan kompetisi internasional yang dapat diikuti oleh seluruh walkers yang mengikuti kegiatan Worldwide Photo Walk pada tanggal 1-2 Oktober 2011 lalu (kompetisi ini tidak wajib). Walkers dapat mengunggah foto terbaiknya (hanya 1) melalui halaman photo walk yang diikutinya di situs Scott Kelby (untuk Kota Depok di http://bit.ly/photowalkdepok). Deadline tanggal 7 Oktober 2011 pukul 12pm EDT atau kalau tidak salah setara dengan pukul 22.00 WIB.

  Persyaratan foto yang boleh diunggah tidaklah banyak, foto tersebut harus diambil pada saat melakukan Depok Photo Walk. Walkers dipersilahkan mengedit foto hasil jepretannya mengunakan photoshop atau semacamnya, bahkan menggunakan instagram juga diperbolehkan.

  “You can shoot models as long as it happens on the walk route, during the official 2-hour (approx.) walk time chosen by your walk leader. Also, you can use Adobe Photoshop to your hearts content, as long as everything in your photo was taken during the official walk hours along on the walk route. You can’t go back at sunset and shoot it in better light, and so on. Also, you can’t add a better sky that you shot in that same location on some other day. Basically, whatever you submit, it has to be taken during the official walk you participated in. You can shoot panos, HDR, B&Ws, you can create collages, you can process them with Instagram on your iPhone—I don’t care—it just has to be all shot during your 2-hour walk. If you don’t agree with the rules, no sweat whatsoever—just don’t enter the competition portion of the walk.”

  “The maximum file size for images is 1MB. We suggest it to be 1000px on the longest side at 72dpi.”

  October 1-2:
  Official Worldwide Photo Walk Days

  October 7:
  Deadline for walkers to submit photo at 12pm EDT / 4pm GMT
  Walkers can upload images starting October 3rd at 9am EDT / 1pm GMT

  October 10:
  Leaders select winning photos by 12pm EDT / 4pm GMT

  October 17:
  Honorable Mentions and Grand Prize winners

  October 17:
  People’s Choice Voting opens

  October 24:
  All Voting Closes at 12pm EDT / 4pm GMT

   Dimana meeting point-nya? Dimana sebaiknya meninggalkan kendaraan kita? Apa saja yg harus kita siapkan?

     meeting point-nya di Carrefour Express, Jalan Dewi Sartika, Depok. kendaraan dapat diparkir di meeting point tersebut.
