Photo Walk Description

Note: The Official Worldwide Photo Walk Date is July 24th, 2010

A slight change in the location of the walk! While scouting the walk near Union Station, EXTENSIVE construction is now occuring resutling in issues with views, access, and parking. Scouting the general area with Jason we found a good walk, starting at the Pepsi Center, then walking through Auraria Campus, and ending near the Pepsi Center. Brooklyns resturant and bar should make a good place to meet after the walk. Parking should be free at the Pepsi Center lot next to Brooklyns after 6pm, as there are no events scheduled at the Pepsi Center. One bonus for those chosing to stay a little late, Ellitches shoots fireworks around 925pm, which is adjacent to the Pepsi Center.

Couple of notes, we plan to step off promplty at 630pm, so please arrive by 615pm, and should be done 830-845pm. The distance of the walk is very close to 1.5 miles.

Equipment wise, lenses from wide angle to telephoto’s would all be useful, and a tripod would also be a good addition for this walk. An external flash might also be useful.

  1. Jason says:

Don’t ask me how this happened, but as it turns out I will be in the air on the day in question, so obviously will not be able to attend…could not find a way to opt out, so the walk has +1 more spot than actually shows…

  2. Jenna Mahoney says:

I too cannot go due to unforeseen issues. Will keep looking to see how I get off the list so someone on the waitlist can go

  3. Jolynne Woodcock says:

I are allowed to enter only one photo for contest?
