Photo Walk Description

This is a great spot to photograph an autumn sunset. On the west side will be the setting sun and magnificent autumn colors. Towards the east is a serene body of water surrounded by distant fall colors and a waterfall. Bring your tripod if you wish to capture panorama’s and HDR photographs. We will meet at the top of the dam on the east side overlooking the waterfall. You can park on Croton Dam Rd off Rte 129 (right coming out of the park, and first right) which is a small dead end street with a few spots. You can also park on the other side of 129 on the street and then walk up Croton Dam Rd to the top of the dam. After the walk we will take a short drive to a local restaurant and have dinner.

Being a Saturday evening, dinner for a large group with a yet unknown count is difficult. Instead we will aim to have a drink at a local bar.
