Photo Walk Description
Photographers will once again wander along the downtown Clarkesville Historic district in search of unique photographic opportunities. There is plenty of architecture, street photography and history. When the sun begins to set, downtown Clarkesville takes on a whole new personality and photographers are encouraged to capture images of people interacting in our vibrant downtown setting. Consider impact…does your image make you stop and look? We are looking forward to another successful photo walk. We are working with North Georgia Technical College and the Northeast Georgian to publicize the winners and come up with additional prizes. Winners will be published in the Northeast Georgian Newspaper.
I am so glad we get to join in on the World Wide Photowalk this year! It was so much fun last year. Thank you!

woot woot~ I might do the Charleston walk this year, but I had a GREAT time last year on the Clarkesville Walk, winning Peoples’ Choice award for my little baby bird on the brick sidewalk on the square!! Great event, great sponsors, and met a few new friends.

Glad to see this! I was bummed when I got the original announcement of this year’s dates and didn’t see Clarkesville on the list…then I ran into a friend of mine at Old Clarkesville Mill today and she told me it was scheduled…Yea!!!
So excited to get to participate this year.

I’ve tried to register but the program tells me that my email address already exists with another account. Tried my hotmail account — same story.

Modify that: Received two emails saying I’m registered — even though the program rejected rejected both my attempts! I hope this doesn’t keep another person out!!

Sorry you are having difficulty. There have been a few others with that same problem. I’ve contacted the web guys and they are working to remedy the situation!

MaryBeth, do you send out notifications of the walk each year? I didn’t know about the Clarkesville walk until it was over. Guess I didn’t look at my NAPP emails enough. I have done the Atlanta walk two times and was a little disappointed with the organizers. Would love to do the Clarkesville one next. Let me know if you send out notifications. If not, I will just make sure I look at NAPP better.
