Photo Walk Description
Note: The Official Worldwide Photo Walk Date is July 24th, 2010
Winner of Scotts New Book
The city winner has been selected. Congratulations Kevin Peterson.
I would like to thank Buffie from Buffie Boily Photographic Arts for again helping me narrow down and select just one winner this year. It’s greatly appreciated.
Walk Finished Update:
Now that the walk is over, I would like to say a quick thank you to everyone that attended so early in the morning. I don’t have an official count yet but it would appear to be slightly bigger then last year.
Two hours goes by fairly quick – I could have kept on going. I was able to talk with many but not all – Maybe next time.
I would like to thank Darlene Maud, Marjorie Matthews and Michelle MacKinnon for attending in costume so early. I would also like to thank Charlottetown Tourism for sending out 3 of the Fathers of Confederation – George Brown, George-Étienne Cartier and George Coles.
Over the next week and before Saturday, July 31, you are encouraged to login to the World Photo Walk website and share a couple photos from the event. Full details on how to upload photos can be found here: http://worldwidephotowalk.com/2010/07/uploading-contest-images/
If you would like to share more then the 1 or 2 photo limit, please join and upload as many photos as you would like to the Flickr Group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/scott-kelbys-worldwide-photowalk-charlottetown-2010/
I hope everyone enjoyed this simple get together. If you would like to continue to attend similar events on a monthly basis and are not already a member of the PEI Photo Club – consider joining us at our next meeting this Tuesday night. http://peiphotoclub.com/
Thanks again
2010 Group Photo – Thank You Sandra

Update:
Just because this is listed as full, I encourage everyone to show up anyway. We’re outside, there is no limited seating, and the Charlottetown streets are empty this early in the morning.
Welcome to the 2010 Worldwide Photo Walk
After a full and successful walk last year, Prince Edward Island is on the map again.
As many walkers are also wedding photographers, mornings tend to work best so we’ll be meeting early morning and starting at 7am and ending at Coras Breakfast two hours later. We’ll be starting in front of Province House (corner of University and Grafton) and working our way down Great George and Prince St towards the waterfront and then back up Queen St.
All are encouraged to attend. It’s Free!
In partnership with the PEI Photo Club: http://www.peiphotoclub.com/
Charlottetown Tourism has generously offered the Fathers of Confederation to join us on this walk.
2009 Flickr Group – Walker Submitted Photos
The Guinness Book of Records has recognized this as the largest photographic group event but unfortunately can’t make it official without sending out their crew to each city.

This should be a great experience! looking forward to meeting other members of this event.
You don’t need to wait for this walk. Don’t be scared of the regular photo club events.
Had a great time last year, can only get better this year!
Really enjoyed last years here at home. Planning a vacation to PEI, will miss the home one , may be able to tag on here depending on time and significant other interest.
Those that have made suggestions have all been early morning.
Stephen.. i put in for the day off… Very good chance i’ll be there this year.. can’t wait!
Taking the day off of work. I hope we don’t disappoint.
Looking forward to a wonderful day….it was really nice to experience the downtown at an early hour without the hustle and bustle of cars and people. It gives a person a whole new perspective of the city core.
Looking forward to this!
