Photo Walk Description
We’ll meet at the front entrance to the USNWC around 4:15 with the goal to start the walk around 4:30. Sunset is at 7:08 on 10/1, so the plan is to walk the loop around the rafting area to get some great shots with awesome light. We’ll keep the walk very informal, and if you’d like to get some shots of zipliners you’ll be in a great area to do that too. If we finish the loop quickly we can walk around again or head down to the canoe area and get some shots on the Catawba River. We’ve got permission from the USNWC to take pictures of anything we’d like – from rock climbing to rafting so it’ll be a great day.
After we finish up around 6:30 we’ll head up to the River’s Edge Bar & Grill for dinner. When you sign up please let me know if you’ll be able to stay for dinner so I can make reservations at the restaurant.
If you’ve never been out to the USNWC you are going to LOVE IT! It’s an amazing facility and you’re guaranteed to get some awesome shots and have a fun time. I do recommend sunscreen and comfortable shoes – the rafting area is not shaded and we’ll be walking on a dirt/gravel path.
ALSO – walking around at USNWC is free, but parking is $5 per day, per car if you don’t have a yearly pass so feel free to carpool.
