Photo Walk Description
This will be the second World Wide Photo Walk that I will host. Last year I hosted one in Cartersville; it was really enjoyable and I met some great people. This year is a new location in Canton. Canton is a nice small town with a lot of photo opportunities. I look forward to meeting some great people with an interest in photography. Please come to have fun and share your ideas and creativity with others.
The Walk:
1 ) We will meet at the square, next to the gazebo at 9am. Meet and greet for about 15 minutes.
2 ) Next we will walk across North St to the River View Cemetery. Afterwards…
3 ) Walk back to North St and turn right, walking down North St until it splits to the left going to W. Main S.
4 ) Walk up W. Main St one block and turn right onto Academy St.
5 ) Walk Academy St. one block to Archer St. Turn left on Archer St. (Cool architecture photo opportunities here).
6 ) Walk up Archer St. one block and turn right on Elizabeth St.( here there is a nice little park – Brown Park to take pictures at).
7 ) Walk up Elizabeth St.(this wraps around Brown Park) to East Marietta St and turn left.
8 ) Walk down East Marietta St. and turn left on Main St.
9 ) Walk down Main St. toward the downtown square.
10 ) If you would like to meet at R&M sandwich shop(optional) afterwards; see you there. R&M is just past the square on the left side of the road. 117 W Main Street, Canton, GA 30114.
I have had issues with the map above; so the walking directions will be an easy supplement. It looks like the route is about one mile with plenty of opportunities to photography a wide variety of things. Don’t forget to take pictures of your fellow walkers too; that makes good memories.

Just like last year; proceeds’s from these T-shirts go to the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya: http://www.cafepress.com/townerjones/7948472
They are not required to participate in the PhotoWalk; but they are cool to have. I am looking forward to meeting everyone soon.
Stephen,
I just sent you an e-mail – you can now disregard it. I just saw the attendee list and my name is on it. Sorry to have bothered you. See you, Saturday.
