This is it folks.. This Photography Meetup will be in… Holborn, London for a photography and pub walk by night
My background info:
I am the creator of Photography Meetups- www.photographymeetups.com and have organised over 100 photography based walks and events in the last couple of years. We are organising this walk on behalf of the Worldwide Photo Walk. The idea for this walk will be that we will be stopping in 3 of London’s oldest pubs: Cittie of Yorke, Ye Olde Mitre Tavern & Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, whilst taking photos along the way. This route has been carefully selected for its beauty from a photography point at night.
This Meetup will be from 6:00pm onwards. We will meet at 6:00pm and it will finish at 10pm….
We will start by meeting outside Holborn underground station. From there we will take a short walk to the Cittie of Yorke pub for a pint. From there we will walk to the Ye Olde Mitre Tavern, then onto the final pub, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. After these we will lastly make our way to Blackfriars bridge where we can take some interesting night photography and summarise the evening together.
This Meetup has incredible photographic opportunities, so let your creative juices flow. This is a great way to learn from one another. Lets group together take great photographs and make some friends whilst we’re there together.
Date: 01/10/11 (Saturday)
Meeting point: Outside Holborn Underground Tube Station.

Dont forget if possible bring along with you a tripod for those longer exposures.

I am already signed up for the Camden Town walk but potentially interested in this too if it doesn’t fill up. I possibly have a friend who may come along as well but I will wait until a couple of days before the date and see how full the walk is. I don’t want to take someone elses place who isn’t doing a walk at all!
