Photo Walk Description
Fall will bring us cooler weather and some colorful photo opportunities this year.
With the new Historic Walking Tour as our guide, we will have plenty to see and photograph.
Starting at Hain House 412 4th St. we will walk south to Vine. On Vine we will head East crossing Main to Turner Hall at Vine & 6th. Turning around at 6th going West on Vine to Thesbian Hall on Vine & Main. From Thesbian Hall we will walk North on downtown Main St. all the way to Morgan. Then East up Morgan to 8th St. and turn North to High St. We will cross the street and walk around Bell Park on the corner. Then down Historic High St. where we will see more homes on the National Register of Historic Places to Main again. On Main we will go North on the bridge to get a few shots of the Historic Katy Bridge, then back south to High St. turning West to 4th St. After turning around we will head East to Main again. Our Home stretch will be from East and Main to Spring, where we will finish at the Cooper’s Oak Winery on the corner.
WOW….looks exhausting on paper, but this is an Amazing walk.
Bring all you think you will need…camera…lenses…tripod…just remember you will have to carry what you bring.
After our walk, we will relax at the Cooper’s Oak Winery, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink, or a sandwich or salad.
Bring comfortable shoes and a desire to be creative.
