Photo Walk Description

This walk will be a casual/informal meeting of shutterbugs. We should get some good late afternoon and early evening light for photos. We will meet at the Gazebo then head to the “Heart of Boerne Trail” along the creek behind the Plaza to get some Nature shots. With our recent rains there should be water in the creek to make it more interesting and hopefully we will see a Heron or Egret and probably ducks and perhaps a turtle or two. We will come up out of that path at Newton Alley and head North on Main toward the Plaza and cross Main Street at E. Blanco. This part of the walk will enable us to capture some shots of some great historic buildings/architecture or even practice panning as traffic goes by! We can stop at the water feature at the Plaza for more photo-op’s before crossing Main Street at E. Blanco. Once we cross E. Blanco will then visit the Historic County Courthouse(s) to photograph. We will wind down at “Soda Pops ~ Patio Grill & Bar” for eats, socializing, music and Hot Rods to photograph!! Bring a chair and plan on setting up your chair at Soda Pops , (www.sodapopsboerne.com) before the walk, seating is limited and it will be crowded.
