Photo Walk Description
A gentle riverside stroll, with the start of Autumn colour, going downstream past South Mill lock, to Twyford Mill Lock, then back half country / half industrial to the Rivermill.
Expect modern architecture, narrowboats, canal, weirs, interesting footbridges, graffiti under the railway; we pass a Nature Reserve between South Mill and Twyford Locks, and if we’re lucky there will be autumn colour too.

Hi Andrew.I would like to join your group for the upcoming photowalk.I have tried to join the photo walk with the link, but it says my email address is already registered and my varied usernames have already been used.I have no idea how ,as I haven’t been on here before.Weird.
Regards Karen
I’ve received notification now that I am registered with the group.
We’re getting a few more signups this week, maybe the server’s mail queue was getting filled. Looking forward to seeing everyone, the forecast is just GREAT
This is my third attempt at leaving a comment. So fingers crossed this works.I haven’t been to Bishops Stortford in over 20 years .I am a bit confused as to where we are to met.
Whereabouts is the footbridge?
And where is a good place to park, and is the finish near to the start?
The footbridge is between the Rhodes Centre, and the Railway station Car park at the end of Millars One Maltings, and there is usually parking there on Saturday
Andrew,
How do we post photos ??
Thanks
David
The website will open up for that tomorrow I’m told. In the meantime we have a flickr group

Andrew,
My Photo Posted. Can we see other photos entered by group ??
Thanks
David
Arrgh, I didn’t realise you could only submit one prize photo. How can I possibly choose? (Andrew, which of my photos on the Flickr group do you like best?
Phew, that was a steep learning curve for me .I had to quickly learn how to resize an image in elements. All very confusing for an amateur like me.
Thank you all for entering, rather sorry that a few only posted to the flickr group (some great shots there too!)
The photos were anonymous when I was picking a winner, well done Dave! Now go on to do well internationally…
Well pleased with the photo. Surprised to win walk photo
Regards
David
