We welcome children, as well as people in wheelchairs, walkers, parents with prams -or people with their bicycles. You can also bring your dog to the walk. If you are tired, you can always hop on the tram M10 for a few stops or meet us at the end station.

We will walk from Nordbahnhof until Eberswalder Strasse, following the path of where the Berlin Wall used to be. Along the way we will see the visitors centre, a real piece of the wall, we can go up the tower at the Memorial Center, visit the “Reconciliation Church” (built where the former church was blown up) and discover bits of Wedding, Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, and Mauerpark along the way. At the end of the walk, we will have a drink together.

The end meeting point, DOGMA BAR, has computers and big screen TVs where we can review our photos together.

Participants: limited to 50, but registration is required.

At the Final meeting point we meet somewhere, we can comment on the pictures, and exchange views on how the photo walk went.
A Facebook event is also promoting the event more on www.facebook.com/fotomarathon

After the Photo Walk, each participant can upload his/her images on this page. Scott Kelby is offering an e-book ass prize: “Lightroom4 Book for Digital Photographers” (in English). The Fotomarathon Team will then select the winning photos among all photos uploaded. The winning image deserves a chance at the grand prize, by Scott Kelby selected themselves.

    Dear all
it is great to see so much interest in the WorldWide Photowalk in Berlin!

We will be meeting at the DOGMA BAR, Knaackstrasse 98, just in front of the Kulturbrauerei -near U Eberswalderstrasse.

    https://www.facebook.com/Dogma.Bar

There will be computers and big screens for us to share and comment our photos, while we have some drinks together.

There are also a couple of kicker tables as well, for those of you who want to play a bit as well :-)

Many thanks to Sebastian, the bar owner, who has offered kindly to host the tired but enthusiastic photo walkers.

  • Berlin Route announced -times changed

Our walk will take place from 3 to 5.30 pm, to take advantage of the afternoon light.

After collecting some feedback from friends and potential walkers, we have decided to go for a very Berlin-traditional choice: we will walk along the route of the former Berlin Wall, from Nordbahhof until Eberswalder Straße.

Along the way we will see the visitors centre and the Memorial Centre for the Berlin Wall, a real piece of the wall, we can go up the tower at the Memorial Center, visit the “Reconciliation Church” (built where the former church was blown up) and discover bits of Wedding, Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, and Mauerpark along the way.
