Photo Walk Description
A Golden Hour Photo Walk which will begin with a 3:00pm briefing at the Elizabeth Café at Northwest Inn. At 3:30pm the group will walk towards the Central Market, then to the Bacolod City Public Plaza & the Cathedral to capture a mix of Sunday life, light and beauty. From the Cathedral, the group will race to catch the sunset at Bredco Port, and when night falls, the group will walk back to Northwest Inn & capture stunning night shots of the Pope John Paul II Tower, the SM City Mall and the Cathedral along the way. The group will then go back at Northwest Inn to have dinner & post-process their photos to their hearts’ content.

Hi Billy! At the moment, it’s not really necessary for you to opt out of either schedule because anyway there are still plenty of slots in this Sunday walk. But in case, this walk also gets filled up, then you can choose to opt out of one to give way to those in the waiting list.

Dear Walkers,
Since this is a “Golden Hour” PhotoWalk which will begin late afternoon & end early evening, you are encouraged to bring tripods along to enable you to capture sharp nightscape images.
Moreover, due to the risks involved in nighttime shooting, “minors” shall not be allowed to join this walk unless they are accompanied by an adult.

Sunday, October 2nd, is nearly upon us & I’m very excited to do this photo walk with all of you simultaneously with some other 1,100 groups all over the world.
Please be at Northwest Inn (Corner Rizal-Mabini Streets) by 3:00pm for the informal briefing. I will give all the additional instructions & contest mechanics during the briefing.
Since our group was formed late, we were not able to have a group t-shirt printed nor there was enough time to order the official photo walk t-shirt from Scott Kelby. As such, I would like to request that we all just come in “WHITE” t-shirts for uniformity.
Since this is a “Golden Hour” PhotoWalk which will begin late afternoon at 3:30pm or 4:00pm & end early evening, you are all encouraged to bring your own TRIPOD along to enable you to capture sharp nightscape images.

Dear Walkers!
Here are the FINAL REMINDERS for the Sunday, October 2nd, Bacolod City PhotoWalk:
• Meeting Place: We will meet at the lobby of Northwest Inn which is located at Corner Rizal-Mabini Streets, Bacolod City.
• Registration Time: Please be at Northwest Inn to register between 2:00-3:00 pm.
• Briefing: I will give a briefing at 3:00 pm to discuss the PhotoWalk guidelines, rules, routes, etc.
• Attire: Please come in WHITE t-shirts.
• Gears to bring: CAMERA, lenses of your choice, fully-charged Battery Packs, Storage/Memory Cards, External Flash (optional but encouraged), TRIPOD (optional but encouraged since we will be shooting at night).
• Other things to bring: Bottled Water, UMBRELLA or raincoat (because there is a strong probability of a rainshower).
• Laptop? No, it’s not necessary to bring a laptop during the walk.
• Route? This will be explained during the briefing.
