Photo Walk Description
Hi everyone, thanks for once again joining the photowalk. This will be the fifth time I’ve led a walk here in Auckland so welcome to you all!! I look forward to meeting you all in person on Saturday.
This year we return to the viaduct area and will kick-off from the Maritime Museum, make our way across Te Whero to Wynyard Quarter, around to Victoria Park, along Fanshaw St to Quay St via Britomart to The Cloud and finish where we started at the Maritime Museum.
We’ll all congregate at one of the cafe/bars on the Viaduct; the precise location will be confirmed when I meet you all tomorrow afternoon.
If you’re coming by car, the best parking would be at the Downtown Carpark as it’s closest to the start/finish point. Alternatively there is the Viaduct Carpark on Fanshaw St, or the Britomart carpark further along Quay St. As we’re so close to the main CBD transport hub, buses and ferries could be a good alternative as well.
