Photo Walk Description
I plan for us to meet at the front gates of St. Malachy’s Chapel at approx 2:45pm as a starting point.
Main focal points/location on the day will be buildings and architecture of :-
St. Malachy’s Chapel, St. Patricks Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh Public Library, Old City Hospital, The Mall Area covering buildings like The Court House, Armagh County Museum, Armagh Gaol/Jail, St. Marks Church, Gospel Hall & Presbyterian Church.
Finishing off at Armagh City Hotel, were you can get yourself a cup of tea etc, to go over our shots of the day and a bit of craic and banter.
There will be one street to climb early early in the walk but after that its all easy going. Car parking in the area is at the back of St. Malachy’s Chapel free and paid areas.
I’m keen to learn from others about photography and joined Armagh Photography Club when it was formed a few years back. From that i’ve been club secretary and have taken a number of courses in my local college.
Planning this photowalk will, i hope, gather together people who enjoy taking photos for fun and those who make a living from it. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy this day.
