Photo Walk Description
We’ll be meeting near the steps of the Post Office in Amsterdam at 7:45 am for some light instructions and a group photo. There will be a map of the photo route available. We’ll be beginning the walk as close to 8 am as possible, so if you get there after that, we might be gone. The walk will take approximately 2 hours and we’ll meet back at the Post Office at 10 am to see who is interested in going to brunch. If you know ahead of time that you’d like to attend brunch with the group, please let me know as soon as you can. You can, however, let me know that day.
We will walk drizzle or shine. If it’s raining down hard, the walk will take place on Sunday, Oct 2 from 4-6 pm, same place, same route.
Suggestions to bring: camera, tripod, camera bag with back-up camera, extra media cards/batteries, rain gear for yourself and your camera, various length lenses, polarizer, identification, water bottle, good walking shoes, lens cleaner, light jacket.
The walk can accomodate up to 50 participants. Children/teens are welcomed to attend the walk, but they each count as one of the 50 participants and they must stay with their supervising adult. You may use any type of digital camera–you’re limited only by your imagination.
Do you know why when I try to join this walk I get a pop-up stating there is a waiting list? Your walk page says “This Location’s walk has room for 50 more”.
Keith, I’m so sorry I didn’t reply to your message before, this is the first time I’ve seen it. To answer your question, no I don’t know why you were getting this message.
Seems like there’s been a lot of trouble with this site this year.
