Photo Walk Description
Hello and welcome to Allegan’s first annual Worldwide Photo Walk. My name is Kurt VanderScheer and I’ll be the leader for the Allegan walk.
Where we’ll walk: We’ll start out by meeting in front of C.J.’s Boardwalk Ice Cream in the parking lot at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 2nd. After a short meet and greet we’ll start the walk with a brief tour west along the boardwalk through the park and up to Hubbard street, head north on Walnut past and visit the Old Jailhouse Museum. From there we’ll wander down Trowbridge, past the Regent Theatre, travel south past the downtown business and finally end up near the Old Iron Bridge. We’ll all meet back at CJ’s for an ice cream.
What to bring: You, your camera, appropriate dress for Michigan weather, and money for an ice cream after the walk.
This event is free and open to anyone interest in making some memorable images.
My fiance and I would like to attend this. His mother was raised an married here so this is kind of a tribute to her…. Thanks Lea

Thanks again for all the history info of Allegan … the Holland walk was fine, although Allegan was much nicer photowalk material. It turns out that my Mom, while she grew up for some time in Allegan, was not related to the Winchesters from that area that we were talking about.
