Where We Will Meet
In The Forth Inn for coffee.
Where The Walk Will End
Say goodbye at The Forth Inn
About This Walk
Well, here we are year 2 for me.
I hope you can join us this year in Aberfoyle, last year was a great experience first year doing something like this, lots to learn, new experience etc etc..
A little bit about me, Phil Crowder; Landscape Photographer, Dog Photographer and owner of The Forth Inn, Aberfoyle. If you would like to see any of my work you could visit my website philcrowder.com or I’m on Facebook, Phil Crowder Photography. On either, you will see lots of images of The Trossachs.
What did I learn last year… Lots!.. but 2 things mostly
1st thing was a practical thing “Get your camera out early” it’s amazing and you can try this before you get here, just do it, get your camera out and take a picture… anything, seriously anything it just gets you in the mode of taking pics, and gets over any potential embarrassment of taking images in front of others. Simple when you think about it.
2nd thing was “You will meet some great people” and I mean that sincerely. We do have an advantage in that we have something in common.
So, on the day like last year, it will be split into two parts.
In the morning around Aberfoyle, we are going to do a walk of around 3 miles, it’s mostly flat, easy walking, no rush but remember you will have your camera and any gear you think you need to carry!. For me, I’m going to pick a theme probably Black & White and maybe Macro so that restricts my gear to one body, one lens and a tripod.
In the afternoon for those that want to continue, we will do a car share and go to Loch Katrine and Loch Achray loads to photograph from super buildings to old steamers, hairy coos and spectacular Landscapes & Lochscapes!
It will be an amazing day.
Plan B… it can rain a bit in and around Aberfoyle, so, if it is particularly inclement all is not lost. For those that would like to, I have some LED lights and we can learn a little about using them indoors at The Forth Inn.
ps, any questions you can contact via this site or through messenger on Facebook.
