Where We Will Meet

Meeting beside Cafe 52 at The Green.

Where The Walk Will End

We will be finishing at walk where were started at The Green

About This Walk

The city centre walk is open to all levels and abilities. We will be following a route that captures the hustle and bustle of the city centre on a Saturday with some street photography and taking in some of the local architecture as well as some of the fantastic Nuart urban art installations.

When the walk finishes at 5pm there is an option to socialise with fellow photographers in a local cafe then for those who wish to stay out longer we can head out to capture the city as the lights come on as dusk sets in.

Photowalk FeedbackOctober 17th, 2017

I hope you enjoyed the photowalk. We would really appreciate your feedback on the walk so we can improve any future walks and events we host.

We have created the feedback form and would appreciate of you could take a couple of minutes to fill it out.

Many thanks

Getting ready for the photowalk.October 2nd, 2017

I hope you re looking forward to the Photowalk on Saturday. Remember to have your memory cards empty with your batteries fully charged, for those going old school with film cameras remember a spare roll of film. There will be no need for a tripod unless you want to stay a little later and capture some long exposures.
We have our fingers crossed for the weather but it is October and the weather can be very changeable to please pack a waterproof jacket just in case.
Here is a link to a couple of videos that might be of interest in prep for the walk .

Change of timeSeptember 11th, 2017

Please note there has been a change of time to the photowalk. We went out for a trial run of our proposed route and taking into consideration the time of year we decided to bring the photowalk forward an hour to make best use of the light.
The walk is now starting at 3pm and finishing at 5pm. After the walk there is an option to stay and socialise in a local cafe and refuel. Once refreshed there is an option of staying out a little longer to capture the city as the lights start to come on as dusk approaches.
