Hi and Welcome!
Thanks for your interest in the Tel Aviv Photo Walk! I am excited that Tel Aviv will take part in this global initiative that is being held for the fifth time amongst more than 1000 cities around the world.
The walk is open to everyone – no need for special equipment or training. The route will be easy and casual through Rothschild and the surrounding streets of the “white city”. This area is lively and full of action also on Saturday so there will be plenty of subjects to photograph. We will all have a chance to upload photos to the Worldwide Photo Walk web site and participate in the competition!
We will meet on Saturday, October 13th 2012 at 15:30 (3:30PM) in 16 Rothschild Street, near the statue of Meir Dizengoff. The walk will end at 17:30 (5:30PM) just after sunset, at “Port Sa’id” – a casual bar and restaurant near the Great Synagogue – for a beer and snack or coffee. Of course, you are welcome to stay in the area afterwards and enjoy the Tel Aviv night life.
There is plenty of street parking in the area and the end point is very close to the starting point, so you will have a comfortable walk back to your car.

תודה על ההתעניינות בסיור הצילום שלנו. אני שמח שהשנה גם תל אביב תשתתף בסיור הצילום העולמי שנערך זו השנה החמישית ביותר מ- 1000 ערים בעולם!
הסיור פתוח כמובן לכל חובב צילום ללא צורך בציוד או הכשרה מיוחדת. מובטח מסלול קל ומהנה באזור רוטשילד ורחובות ה”עיר הלבנה” הסמוכים, שגם ביום שבת יהיו שוקקי חיים ועשירים בנושאים לצילום. תהיה לכולם הזדמנות לצלם ולהעלות תמונות מעולות של תל אביב היפה והמעניינת לאתר האירוע וכמובן להשתתף בתחרות נושאת הפרסים!
נפגש בשבת, 13 באוקטובר 2012 בשעה 15:30 ברחוב רוטשילד 16 ליד פסלו של מאיר דיזנגוף על הסוס. נסיים את המפגש לאחר השקיעה בשעה 17:30 ב”פורט סעיד” – מקום נחמד ולא מכופתר ליד בית הכנסת הגדול, למפגש קצר על כוס בירה או קפה ונשנוש. כמובן שכולם מוזמנים ליהנות מערב תל אביבי מיד לאחר מכן. יש חניה בשפע בשעות אלו ברחובות הסמוכים ונקודת הסיום קרובה מאד לנקודת ההתחלה, כך שדרככם למכוניות תהיה קצרה.
