A Message From The Walk Leader

Hi Everyone! Hopefully, this Photowalk will be as much fun as the last one, which resulted in some incredible images. The route is an easy walk beginning and ending at El Charro Cafe. The walk itself is just under 30 minutes, which gives us 90 minutes for photography. Along the way, you will pass by beautiful flowers and greenery, historic adobe buildings, statues, artwork, water features, and even some people dressed in period costumes! People of all levels of photographic expertise are welcome!

In the meantime, please join our Facebook Events Page to share links to your photography, meet the other walkers, share any ideas you might have, and to follow a link to photos from last year’s Photowalk.

Last minute suggestions: Bringing a bottle of water may be a great idea. Also, Terry Reinhert has a nice blog titled “Getting The Most Out Of The Worldwide Photowalk” that you can get to by clicking here. If you have time, you may want to check out last year’s photos for some ideas of what is possible. This year’s route is not the same, but it crisscrosses with last year’s route in places. The entire set can be viewed by clicking here.

I look forward to seeing each and every one of you on the 18th at 8 AM (or before). El Charro has a parking lot, and street parking is free on the weekends. Let’s attempt a group shot before the walk begins, so please be on time.
