A Message From The Walk Leader
Maritime activity will be the theme today as we enjoy a walk along San Diego Harbor. We will meet in front of Buster’s Beach House restaurant at 2PM in Seaport Village, walking northward toward the Fishing Boat Marina (San Diego’s own version of Fisherman’s Wharf), the USS Midway aircraft carrier, the Cruise Ship Terminal, and the beautiful, historic Star of India sailship. Along the boarwalk, we’ll have the opportunity to also photograph the Port of San Diego’s Urban Tree sculptures. If there’s time, we may be able to also enjoy architectural views of the San Diego Convention Center. This is a feature packed walk along San Diego’s cherished waterfront. The walk will conclude back at Buster’s, where we can view your images and enjoy reasonably priced California/Hawaiian cuisine for those who choose to. The PhotoWalk will be about 2 hours long.
