A Message From The Walk Leader
Hi Everyone! This will be our first participation in the Worldwide Photowalk here in Rio Rico. Come join us and have a good time taking photographs and learning from other photographers in our area. We’ll be meeting at La Placita Restaurant near Garret’s IGA at 1060 Yavapai Dr Rio Rico, Arizona 85648 (520)377-8456. From there it is a short walk to the historic De Anza Trail. We’ll walk and photograph at a comfortable pace and return to La Placita to discuss our images and maybe have a bite to eat when we are done.
Remember it will be monsoon season so come prepared. Hopefully we’ll have one of those awesome rio Rico sunsets to provide us with a great “Golden Hour.” (If monsoon conditions warrant we may change our route to insure the safety of all participants.
Directions to La Placita are: Exit 17 from Interstate 19 and go west. You’ll see the shopping center on your right immediately after crossing Frontage Road. La Placita is on the far right end of the shopping center.
