A Message From The Walk Leader
Historic Quincy, MA, is the birth and burial place of two United States Presidents, John Adams, and his son John Quincy Adams. Our Photowalk will start at the Adams “Old House”, known as Peacefield, in the Adams National Historic Park. From there, we’ll walk along Furnace Brook to the Quincy Homestead on Butler St., and then along Hancock Street to the Quincy Historical Society/Adams Academy, Quincy City Hall with it’s wonderfully reflective mirrored windows, the Church of the Presidents, the Hancock Cemetery, and end at Acapulco’s Mexican Restaurant for review and refreshment.
