A Message From The Walk Leader

This Photowalk will be along a newly opened trail through a Canyon in the Prescott Dells north of Willow Lake.  It is a strikingly beautiful area of Prescott, with unique granite formations. As trails go, it is fairly easy, with not much elevation change, but there are a few areas that require some scrambling up and down granite boulders. Be sure to bring water.  The trail is about 1.5 miles long and will probably take a little over 3 hours to travel because of the great many photo opportunities. This is one of the most photographic, least explored,  and accessible areas of the Dells. We will meet in the parking lot near the boat ramp in the Willow Lake recreation area (Heritage Park) on the north end of town, (Prescott), at 8 AM. There is a $2.00 per vehicle daily use fee upon entrance into the park.
