A Message From The Walk Leader
Welcome to the Phoenix element of the World Wide Photo Walk!

Phoenix participants will gather at the Central at Roosevelt METRO station where we will mosey around portions of the Arts District, Roosevelt Row and the Farmer’s Market. The mixture of historic and modern, cultural and urban communities should offer “something for everyone” when it comes to photographic opportunities.
Following our amble we will meet for a well deserved respite at Alice Cooper’stown. The kind folks at Cooper’stown have agreed to open an hour early to accommodate us.
Since parking is rarely convenient downtown, I decided to make the walk as convenient to the METRO as possible. There are park and ride locates in Mesa, Tempe and Uptown. Cost for a day pass is $2.50 (now) $3.50.

I’m super excited. I’m a relative noob to photography - having started at the beginning of December 2008. I hope you guys don’t mind if I pick your brains. BTW, don’t forget to bring water. It’s gonna be hot even at 8:00 AM.
