A Message From The Walk Leader

The meeting start time is 5:30pm  and end time is 7:30pm.

The Palmer Photowalk will begin at Burgundy Brook Farm on Route 181. This site has farm land vistas, horses, farm stand and a walk along the Ware River. The farm is home to Blue Star Equiculture, Inc. a horse rescue sanctuary and organic farm.  The rural nature of Palmer is here in all its splendor.  After an hour-long walk there in the country we will travel to downtown Palmer for sunset shots of the trains and tracks and a typical New England Main Street. Palmer is  known as the town of seven railroads. The hub of those rails is the old Depot. This is where the walk will end. This is also the home of Steaming Tenders Restaurant where the group will meet for the after walk round-up.
