A Message From The Walk Leader

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for everyone’s suggestions for a start time.  I, too, think 6AM is a great time.  Thanks for signing up! I know we’re going to be a small group, but I’m glad Scott Kelby will be represented in our neighborhood.  Be sure to tell you friends and family about the walk and encourage them to sign up.  Experience is NOT required, just a love of photography.

So here’s the current plan, we will meet at the Civic Center Park near the enclosed dog park area, which is on the westernmost side.  Our walk will roughly follow the amazing collection of public art that Palm Desert has become known for, so through the park to Portola and then up to El Paseo.  We can stop somewhere on El Paseo for either coffee or breakfast.

Please wear comfortable shoes, bring water and your gear.  Please email me if you have any questions or suggestions for our walk.  I look forward to meeting everyone and exploring our amazing oasis in the desert.
