A Message From The Walk Leader

Hello fellow photographers of South Florida, my name is Kim Seng. I am a hobbyist photographer who lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I’m more of an artist than a photographer. I’ve been an artist all my life and photography has recently become my latest medium of choice. If you would like to know more about me visit my photography blog.

I will be organizing the Scott Kelby’s 2009 Photowalk at the Jupiter Inlet, located in Jupiter, Florida. I have chosen this spot because of the many photographic opportunities. This is a historic area with many wonderful possibilities, like the Dubios Pioneer Home and the Jupiter Lighthouse… as well as the Jupiter Inlet. I’ve photographed this area many times and know personally that this is a wonderful spot for all levels of photographers.

Schedule of Events

The Palm Beach Garden’s 2009 Photowalk will start at 7:00am and end at 9:00am. We will all meet at the Jupiter Inlet Parking lot and start walking west till we get to the end of Dubois Park, which isn’t a long walk! I prefer that we shoot more and walk less! If you feel like you need to workout you can carry my camera gear… lol!

I will be at the Jupiter Inlet at 6am to setup and hangout. For all you who want to get a good sunrise shot I would suggest being there at the same time. However, Photowalk won’t officially start till 7am.

Change of plans at the end, no BBQ! I’ve been doing some photo shoots around this time and the sun is just scorching. By 9:00am, I am sure we will all be ready for some AC. If anyone has any ideas where we can all get together at the end of the walk, I’m all ears. Send me an email using the contact link above. I want to keep it realitively inexpesive. I’m thinking McDonalds would be a good place. We can discuss this more after the event.
