A Message From The Walk Leader

Welcome to the Limerick Photo Walk page. If you are in the city on July 18th please come along for a photowalk around the city.

The photowalk will be very casual and all levels of photographer are welcome, from mobile phone to SLR. It is a social event and is not only a chance to meet other photographers but more importantly to have some fun!

The proposed route is roughly as follows -
From the starting point outside Brown Thomas we will make our way to the lively Milk Market. From here we will snap our way towards Pery Square before exploring the People’s Park. We will then document the journey to the river and cross the bridge to stroll along O’Callaghan’s and Clany’s Strand leading to King John’s Castle. We will then walk through the Medieval Quarter back towards the city centre, stopping for a well earned break and a chat over some food and drink in The Locke Bar.

This walk should take about an hour so if we spend half the time walking and half the time snapping we will be finished in 2 hours.
