A Message From The Walk Leader
Welcome to the Johannesburg Photowalk 2.
We will be meeting in Braamfontein, outside the University of the Witwatersrand on Jan Smuts ave and from there we can walk the area to catch some great city images. You will have the opportunity to get images of the Nelson Mandela Bridge, some great inner city pics, Newtown precinct and so much more. This offers any photographer - pro or amateur - the opportunity to explore a very exiting area in the comfort of a group.
To be a part of a worldwide phenomenon such as this is a privilege.
Register NOW as the first group was full within days and I expect that this will happen with this group too.

Hi there EVERYONE
It was an awesome walk, with so much of our amazing city to see. I KNOW you got some amazing images and I would love for you to share some with everyone. I am going to open a flickr group “Gauteng-2 photowalk” would love to see loads of images there.

Hi all
I am so looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow for the 2nd international photowalk. It’s weird to think that within 24hours there will be 914 groups of people doing exactly what we are doing.
I just wanted to let you know the details.
Please note you are in GROUP 2 !
We will meet outside Wits on Jan smuts Ave . I would suggest to Park in and around Ameshof Street.
We will be walking from there to the bridge and back on another road. Basically it is not a guided walk. We will all just wonder off in a similar direction and then at the end we will go off to a venue to just have a few drinks or warm coffee.
We will start the walk at 2pm and end around 4pm.
Remember to bring your most versatile lenses, a jersey and some money for the end.
