A Message From The Walk Leader
Thank you everyone for attending and discovering the details at the South Coast Rail Museum, Rancho La Patera, the Stow House and Lake Los Carneros. It was fun meeting everyone! And everyone had a favorite photo that I liked to enter in to the main contest, unfortunately only one could go up.

Welcome to the Goleta, California ~ South Coast Rail, Rancho La Patera & Stow House Museums and Lake Los Carneros Photowalk.
That all sounds like a really long walk, but all are located right next to each other and an easy walk.
The rail museum includes the restored Goleta Depot building, a caboose, carts and a lot of interesting details to discover. The Stow house has some nice grounds, a family of wood peckers and a nice farm house. The Rancho La Patera grounds include a museum and vintage farm equipment. We will also walk over to Lake Los Carneros and see if we can find a few birds.
