A Message From The Walk Leader
We will be meeting again this year outside of the Kapitan Keling Mosque, as we did last year. But this year we will be walking in the opposite direction. This year, we will be doing what I call “The Clan Walk”. We will cover the area between Lebuh Chulia down to Lebuh Melayu, with Lebuh Camarvon on one side and the Ocean on the other. This area is fill with historic buildings, mosques and fascinating culture. There are five clan houses and six clan jetties. View Larger Map. We will make a large circle or loop and return back to Chulia St. and meet at 6pm at Restoran Kasim Mustafa Nasi Kandar again. It is halal, so everyone can enjoy the food and relax.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to go to the Japanese Bon-Odori Program at the Esplanade. It is a great way to continue our photographic fun!
