A Message From The Walk Leader
Welcome to the third Worldwide Photowalk Group in Edmonton. This is an opportunity for people to pull out their cameras and show the rest of the world what a great city we have.
Date: July 18, 2009
THE COST: FREE
I’m planning to start the walk by the Muttart Conservatory and head towards the river. We’ll cross the footbridge in Lousie McKinney park and work our way West to the Low Level bridge. The walk will cross the bridge back to the other side and then work its way back towards the Muttart starting point.

- Large-scale sculptures
- Rafters Landing and the Edmonton Queen
- Footbridge
- River
- Trans-Canada Trail Pavilion
- Lousie McKinney Park
- The Millenium Plaza/Shumka Stage
- The Chinese Garden
- The World Walk Rose Gardens
- The Riverfront Plaza
- Shaw Conference Centre
- Jasper Avenue East
- McDonald Hotel
- Edmonton Skyline
- Low Level Bridge
- Dove of Peace - Gallagher Park
Meanwhile, sign up to be part of the group and pass the word around. This is not just for photographers with fancy cameras, but a chance for anyone to pull out their camera and take new and interesting pictures of Edmonton.
1. Bring comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
2. All levels of shooters are welcome.
3. Be sure to bring batteries that are charged and flash cards which are formatted and empty.
4. Film shooters are also welcome.

when the chosen photo is…chosen, where will it be listed.

Diane, I’m sorry you won’t be able to join us. I’m a grandparent and I understand the importance of time with the grandkids. Enjoy the Lion King.
Ian, I wish I could join in on this one. Unfortunately, though I will be in Edmonton on Saturday, I leave the condo to pick up my granddaughter just before 11 for an early lunch then catch the matinee of Lion King. BBQ at my son’s afterward. I hope your photo walks goes very well! Perhaps I can take it in next year.
