A Message From The Walk Leader

Hello again,

Well what a great day was had in Dublin altogether we had 82 interested people wanting to join this walk and 64 users signed up, in the end at 12pm today 46 people braved the weather and showed up which was brilliant

We met at the customs house and 10 minutes into the walk the skies opened and drowned many of us, so we took refuge in Connolly Street train station had some coffee and after 30 minutes progressed with the walk. So much was seen and the banter and craic from everyone was contagious. We went back to the quays after the Sherriff Street 10 decided to deviate slightly from the route and took in the Jeanie Johnston tall ship, the new bridge at Spencer Dock, the wall of graffiti at Windmill lane and finally the red posts at Grand Canal Dock.

After so much walking we ended up in the Ferryman pub and compared photos, got jealous over lenses and polished the day of with a few beers.

Many many thanks to those that turned up for the walk, I do hope you had a great day and thanks for making it so easy and enjoyable for me.
