A Message From The Walk Leader
If you’re in Cork on July 18th please come along with your camera for a photowalk around the city.
The event is going to be an informal one, it doesn’t matter how good or bad you are with a camera because we’re all there to have a bit of fun, to take some photos of the City, and maybe learn a thing or two along the way.
The times listed on this page are open for review but hopefully you’ll have time to get some lunch before hand. If not, bring a Wispa or something to tide you over. All that walking makes you hungry and you’ll be glad of the chocolate to keep you going!
Some of the sights and streets we could cover include:
- The English Market
- Cornmarket Street
- Grand Parade: Bishop Lucey Park, the new boardwalk, Peace Park
- St. Finbarr’s Cathedral
- Patrick’s Street
- Docklands
- City Hall
- Shandon Bells (great view of the city from the top of that!)
