July 18th Update Thank you to everyone for making the Charlottetown portion of the walk a success. There was more participation then I would have expected. Please upload your two best photos to your account before July 25th (How to upload: http://worldwidephotowalk.com/uploading-your-photos/)

To help avoid any conflict of interests, Buffie Boily and Sib Pye have agreed to help me select the book winner.

July 11th Update We have reached the full capacity of 50 walkers recommended by the walk organizers. That being said, the streets of Charlottetown are public and nobody will say anything if you still show up on the morning of the 18th. However, breakfast reservations were made for the 50 on the registration list. Thank you, and see you Saturday.

Last year, I participated with David duChemin on the Vancouver walk and this year with the help of Rona Stewart and support of the PEI Photo Club, the WorldWide Photo Walk is coming to Prince Edward Island in downtown Charlottetown.

It’s going to be an early morning. The voted start time from the early registered walkers was to start between 5:30am and 7:30am. Sunrise on this day will be 5:39am so for those that wish, many of us will be there at 5:30am and then start the official walk at 6:30am from the waterfront.

The currently proposed route will be to start at Confederation Landing Park on the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront and work our way towards Province House. The suggested path is about 2km but also allows a more direct shorter route up Great George St.

Cora’s Breakfast & Lunch was willing to make reservations for 50 if it was before 9am.
