A Message From The Walk Leader

3:00-5:30

We’ll be walking around Kensington Village. It offers lots of appealing things to shoot, truly is possible to spend the day here enjoying scenery of a combination of buildings and nature. There are many prospective shots to be found here.

The basic plan is to meet @ 3:00 at the sunnyside station (C-train) near the benchs (opposite side to the Safeway) to start off we will be shooting down the main strips of Kensington (shops etc) then working our way to the river and shoot along there working our way over in to Princes Island Park to see what’s happening on the Island then depending on time and group interest hitting some of the out skirts of downtown. This will give us a chance to get pictures that range from a ‘retro chic small town feel to Nature to Big City’ along our walk.

After the walk we’ll head back to Kensington and anyone interested in hanging out to chat and socialize over a pint (and by this time maybe some food) can join us at Sam’s Bar and Grill (Location is booked as we have a full registration!)

 There seems to be some tech error currently and I am not able to enter start time and location in there proper spot SO we will be going from about  3:00 - 5:30 (ish)

About The CPG: Shutterbugs using film or digital cameras from amateurs to professionals, getting together to discuss cameras, photos, goings-on & techniques.

As a group we are still in the initial stages of figuring out what works best for the group as a whole; this group is setup to learn from each other this is the reason for there currently being no membership fee. There will be many interesting projects within the group to help everyone learn, with this there will be a number of meetings/seminars on a variety of subjects. From shooting techniques to editing to printing and more! On top of that are the monthly meetings which are a great chance to interact, network, talk to learn from each other, add to your portfolio and just enjoy yourself.
