A Message From The Walk Leader

Rounding the point at Crow in North Devon at high-water always reminds me of the iconic coastal scenes in Jaws. Who needs Florida or the Caribbean when these views sit right on our doorstep! This Photowalk, hosted by Matt Norris, will take you from the car park at the end of the toll road, through the dunes, past the edge of the old American Road and onto the boardwalk. From here we’ll head around the point to the East or West depending on the weather and tide. This walk is currently scheduled to start at 1500hrs, to coincide with the high-tide on the point; although this could be pushed later by consensus to take in the evening light as the day comes to a close.

Once the Photo Walk is complete, we can all meet for some dinner at the Tarka Inn (Heanton Court to those that used to know it as such!), just up the river. The area is in a European Biosphere Reserve and provides stunning visuals for landscapers with ample subject material for some really graphic close-up shots.
