A Message From The Walk Leader

Thanks again to everyone who came and helped make our Boston walk a success. It sounds like everyone had a good time but if you didn’t, or have some ideas for how to improve the walk for next year, please feel free to email me.

I thought everyone would like to see the winning picture from our walk so here it is.

There were 4 photos that I felt were very close to each other but in the end I think this one did the best job of telling a story to someone who wasn’t with us on the walk.

Thanks again everyone and I look forward to hopefully seeing some of you again next year!

TIME CHANGE - 9AM to 12PM!!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Boston portion of the Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk. We’re going to be taking our walk along Boston Harbor beginning at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art)  wrapping through the seaport district and taking the harbor walk to the always photogenic North End. Afterwards there will be plenty of great restaurants for lunch and camaraderie.

Please note the change of the meetup location!!  We’ll be meeting outside the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) at 9AM. The ICA is about a 10 minute walk from South Station, or even better, is less than a 5 minute walk from the Courthouse stop on the Silver Line. We’ll head along Northern Ave by Fan Pier, around the Courthouse and then to Atlantic turning right and heading to the wharfs..

Sites for those not familiar with Boston will include Fan Pier, the Courthouse with great views of the Boston skyline, numerous wharfs including Rowe & Long, Chris Columbus Park, and Hanover street in the North End. There are lots of restaurants, pastry shops, etc in the area, and it’s a very short walk to the Faneuil Hall area if the group prefers.

I’ve made the start and end points “T” friendly for those in the city, and there is always lots of parking in the Seaport District for around $10-$12 all day for those driving. We will be meeting one of the other Boston walks around 12:30am @ Boston Beer Works for lunch for those who wish to attend.
