A Message From The Walk Leader
Take a walk back in time to one of the oldest barrios in Tucson Barrio Viejo. I barrio full of color inspired by hispanic culture and life. The route is an easy walk beginning and ending at Cushing Street Bar and Restaurant. Along the way, you will pass by beautiful flowers and greenery, historic adobe buildings as we visit one of Tucson’s famous icons El Tiradito shrine, murals, and old markets. The walk is sure to be colorful as it will take place in the late afternoon in hopes of catching the wonderful late light. And don’t forget with the monsoon season great clouds and sunsets are sure to be in the horizon.
