A Message From The Walk Leader

Join me on July 18, 2009 for a photo walk around the picturesque townsite of Banff located in stunning Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies (8:30 am to 12:00 PM). Capture morning light along Banff Avenue, visit the famous Cascade Gardens and photograph tranquil views of mountains along the Bow River. We may have time to wander over to Surprise Corner for grand views of Banff Springs Hotel and who knows what wildlife, wild people and wild times will be had on the way. We end with a hearty meal at Banff’s Magpie and Stump Restaurant in downtown Banff.

For the truly adventurous I will be out and shooting the early July sunrise along the Vermillion Lakes road just outside of Banff. Come drive the road and join me along the lakeshore for the prime early morning light for one of the iconic views of the Canadian Rockies. Meet at the second Vermillion Lake at 5:15 AM (that’s right 5:15 AM!).
