Note: The Official Worldwide Photo Walk Date is July 24th, 2010
This is the first annual Worldwide Photo Walk for Haida Gwaii taking place on July 24th. and joining with over 1100similar walks with more than 28,500 participants taking part around the world on the same day. Best picture of the day from each person will be posted on the Flicka Photo Site to be voted on. Please sign up if you are interested in joining us on this outing.
Our photo walk will be approximately 2 hours in length and cover approximately 4 kms of waterfront from the Queen Charlotte Visitor Center to Spruce Point returning in a loop ending at Queen Bee’s for lunch.
Walk leader for this year will be Brian Eccles who an accomplished photographer and a local resident for more than 30 years. The focus of the walk is to have fun and take some great pictures. The walk is open to everyone with an interest in photography and just getting out with friends. Photos must be taken with a digital type camera and uploadable to a computer. Any type of a digital camera from a cell phone with a lens to a point and shoot to a fully loaded DSLR is acceptable.
